Santosh Deemed to be University (SDU) is embarked upon the noble quest to disseminate knowledge to the farthest seekers of knowledge and provide affordable health care to the unreachable. As envisioned in the National Education Policy 2020, our mission is to provide superior quality health education with efficiency, fair play, and uniformity. The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us the necessity of digital education in the form of telemedicine as well as various creative means to engage, interact, and collaborate with students online. Online classes have become an indispensable part of the pedagogy with subcentric approach, providing flexibility of time and space to students and teachers alike.
Today, SDU is constantly upgrading its health education and services through the latest technology through workshops and capacity-building programs, through its workforce and academicians.
SDU is constantly providing affordable health services to the remotest areas and encouraging our students toward translational research; our primary focus is to ensure easy access to education as well as health services, especially for those who lack resources for obtaining higher education and also providing health service to the community who are not reachable. Reaching the unreached is our motto. At SDU, we have always believed in the pervading power and education to overthrow socioeconomic and geographical barriers.
